- There is no equivalent to the Windows' Visual Program Builders on the
- Amiga. Forget GadTools. Forget Boopsi. MUI behaves X-Windows-like, say
- there are restrictions to the layout of a Window (the Gadgets are placed
- relatively to each other, making the Window font- and size sensitive).
-
- I mostly suffer a class library for C++ that is able to do real message
- cracking. This feature eases the development of Windows programs so much
- that I (as an almost non-exeperienced) was able to create a backbone of a
- Mandelbrot fractal program with zoom and some GUI for entering coordinates
- and setting some options (in BC++) within a few hours -- I never would
- have come so far with *any* development environment on the amiga in period
- of time.
-
- BTW -- does anyone know my problems and is on the way to program a class
- library on his own? -> Mail me!!
